Re-equipping BRDM-2 trucks with D-245 diesel engines manufactured by Minsk Motor Plant
The Minsk Motor Plant offers its own manufactured D245.30Е2 diesel engine for repowering the basic gasoline engine installed in armored reconnaissance and patrol vehicle BRDM-2.
The engine is supplied without mounting kit. The engine develops rated output of 115 kW (156 hp), rated speed 2 400 rpm, maximum torque 526 Nm, fuel consumption, 31,1 litre per 100 km on highway. The engine’s packaging: gear-box, compressor, starter, fuel injection pump (“Motorpal”, Czechia). Turbocharger, fan, no alternator (the previously installed is used).
The engine may operate in any climatic conditions.
