The business plan of the development of Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant foresees not only technical reconstruction but creation of a transport and logistics centre. The center is expected to be set up on the base of the Orsha Aerodrome taking into consideration the neighboring railway and international highways. The cost of the investment project is estimated at $11.6 million. According to Vladimir Troitsky, developing the business plan, specialists took into consideration the volumes of traffic flows and the necessary logistic services including customs stations and warehouses. During various international business forums, foreign investors showed their interest in the project presented by Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant. Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant was founded in 1941. The products of Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant meet the requirements of the aviation rules, standards and recommendations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), international standards ISO 9000, JAR-145 and EAR-145. Along with the repair of MI-8, MI-24 helicopters and their modifications, Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant has started to repair unmanned aircrafts as well. Over the six months this year, the plant increased production by 60% as against the same period last year, the export of services increased 12 times.
