Vitebsk to host session of Belarusian, Ukrainian CCIs 16-17 June

A business council of Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and Ukrainian CCI will be held in Vitebsk on 16-17 June, BelTA learnt from Deputy Director General of the Vitebsk Office of the BCCI Valery Valyushkin.

The council will bring together heads of the central and regional offices of BCCI and UCCI and businessmen of both countries. The forum will highlight the expansion of cooperation between the CCIs and businessmen of the two countries and outline new avenues of interaction and spheres of interest in order to intensify the business contacts. The council will also feature presentations of investment potential of the Vitebsk Oblast and the Vitebsk Free Economic Zone.

The forum’s agenda also includes a workshop, business meetings, and tours of Vitebsk companies. The sides are set to establish direct contacts and discuss possible joint ventures. The Vitebsk Office of the BCCI and the Cherkasy Office of the UCCI are supposed to conclude a cooperation agreement.
