Tatarstan has a well-developed forest nursery and seed production sectors. These are the areas which Belarus is actively working on, Ruzhena Novitskaya added. "More detailed acquaintance with the best practices of Tatarstan will be helpful for the further development of the forestry industry in Belarus," noted Ruzhena Novitskaya.

The Belarusian specialists will also attend the Woodworking expo in Kazan to see the forest equipment and technologies. The participants of the event will share experiences and determine actions to deepen cooperation. The Belarusian side will also make a report on the innovative development of forestry in Belarus.

The officials are expected to hold negotiations on the further enhancement of cooperation and joint projects in the forestry.
