Bobruiskagromash sets up joint venture in Zabaikalsky Krai

Bobruiskagromash has set up an assembly factory in Zabaikalsky Krai, it was learnt from the marketing department of the enterprise.

The new factory was established at the premises of the company’s dealer – Agroremtekh. The first consignment of machine sets consisting of PRF-145 balers has already been delivered to the partners. Bobruiskagromash will teach Russian specialists to assemble Belarusian machine sets so that the amount and variety of the agricultural machinery produced at the joint venture might be increased in the future.

“It is a remote market, but it is a promising one, as the joint venture might sell the Bobruisk machinery to the neighboring Amur and Irkutsk oblasts, Buryat and Sakha Republics of the Russian Federation as well as China and Mongolia,” the specialists said.

Bobruiskagromash has set up six joint companies in the Russian Federation: in Tatarstan, the Altai Krai, the Krasnoyarsk Krai and the Zabaikalsky Krai, the Vologda and Yaroslavl oblasts. The Belarusian company intends to set up new assembly facilities in the Volga Federal District and the Southern Federal District.

In January-October 2009 the output of the company grew 10.8% over the same period last year to amount to Br187.6 billion in comparable prices.

Founded in 1974, Bobruiskagromash was reorganized into a joint-stock company in 2005. Bobruiskagromash is a major producer of trailed and mounted agricultural machines in the CIS and the Baltic states. The company makes over 50 agricultural machines, mainly forage harvesters and distributors and organic fertiliser distributors and also machines for applying mineral fertilisers, roll flax harvesters, trailed vehicles for tractors and some other agricultural machines. The company employs around 2,400 people.
